Lynx Recording Studios is a joint venture between Notionwide Sound, LLC and The Distraction Network, LLC. In the collaboration, these two companies wanted to provide a space where local musicians, producers, podcasters, and other visual, audio art makers can work effectively with each other to make a lasting and meaningful product. Located off of Old Trolley Road, Lynx Recording Studios gives access to 3 studios, a lounge, and a development office. Each of the points of access enables the artist to work their project through completion.

Studio 1 is used for open room recording. In this room, podcasters convene for hours to be able to get their messages out to the masses. Musicians also use this studio to practice their craft away from disturbances. This room is used to record crisp sounds in a natural environment. We provide the microphones and wiring, but we are flexible enough for customers to be able to use their own equipment. We also have certain instruments on hand and available upon request.

Studio 2 features an isolation booth. This studio is used for single voiced podcasters, isolated vocals which are mostly used for music engineering, and isolated instrumentals for better manipulation in one of our many engineering programs. The best vocals in town are recorded right here. From commercials, to overdubs. Everything can be provided, or you can bring your own nodes.

Studio 3 is where the magic happens. The engineering studio is where all recordings conducted by Lynx are mixed and mastered. Our lead engineer is well versed in multiple audio suites and is known to I-Ntro-duce artists to multiple genres of music and sounds.

The Development Office offers direction at Lynx Recording Studios. Artists are privy to the guidance and development of our in house expert at marketing and managing. This engineer is also a web developer, and can help link artists from different callings together for projects.

Where will the entourage going to wait? In The Lounge of course. Laced with video games, a big screen television, snacks, and plenty of room, this is a place to distract the guests of the artists if needed. The Lounge is also a convening place for event planning. The 55 inch television has been useful in multiple business situations like powerpoint presentations or learning through tutorials.
